2007 Hawksbill Assessment
Final Version Accepted by the IUCN Standards & Petitions Working Group


We are pleased to announce that the IUCN Red List Standards and Petitions Working Group has approved a status of Critically Endangered (A2bd) for the hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata), as recommended by the MTSG Assessment Steering Committee.
