Flatback

The flatback Turtle (Natator depressus) has the smallest range of all the world's marine turtles, remaining in the waters surrounding Australia. It is classified as Data Deficient by the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.

The flatback reaches a size up to 90kg, and is of olive green coloration. The flatback Turtle is also known as chelonée à dos plat (French) and tortuga aplanada (Spanish). (from Pritchard and Mortimer)
